Media & Content Creation

Artistic Background

Going back to my roots, I have always been passionate about art since I was child. My grandparents and other family members were masterful artists who could create life-like creations using various mediums. I try to follow in their footsteps and use my talent to create beautiful and captivating digital art.

Game Development

My unique experience with so much different technology, coding, and software made me the perfect candidate to try game development. I began this journey after experiencing VR in 2016, and decided to create some experimental professional development experiences at Temple. Little did I know at the time, this development would flourish into a passion and a key aspect of my career. Since then, I have developed multiple 2D, 3D, and VR gamification modules that are used professionally by trainers for both internal and external clients.

Built a Media Studio on Campus

Given my technology background, my artistic interests expanded beyond creating digital content. I have always researched various mediums for creating digital content. This prompted me to write a proposal (which was awarded) to build a Media Studio at Temple University. I used the funding to implement multiple high end cameras, a commercial video switcher, microphones, backgrounds on a track, etc. This studio has been used to create content for countless professional trainings (including State-wide agency courses).

Audio & Video Recording

I have been recording audio and video in a professional capacity since 2013, and have had the honor of recording content for courses, huge State-wide trainings, social media ads, etc. This experience has given me a keen eye for quality when recording media. I also have experience with many major content creation software suites, and recently been favoring DaVinci Resolve or OBS for video capture (depending on the nature of the recording). For recording audio, most of my experience is using iZotope and Audacity.

Post Production

Essentially everything that I record goes through post production editing. I have worked on promotional ads that allowed for a lot of post-editing creativity, as well as trainings that featured basic edits. For video post production, I have used Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Final Cut Pro, MAGIX Movie Studio, and others.

Photography

I have professional photography experience since 2015. Our website rebrand at Temple was one of the larger photography projects I was involved with. We replaced all the photos on our site. I used professional lighting, a Canon DLSR, and various camera settings to improve the quality of photos. These replacement photos included new staff headshots and photos around the campus.

3D Modeling

I have professional 3D modeling experience since 2012. The first project I worked on involved modeling parts that were 3D printed to repair peripherals at Rite Aid. I continued 3D modeling at Temple University for 3D printing and 3D learning experiences in Unity. These models are used in standard 3D gamification and VR learning experiences. I typically use Blender to create 3D models, but I have also used Unity, MakeHuman, Character Creator, and others.

Digital Signage

One of the first projects I took on at Temple was digital signage. We had a very analog and basic system running on a slideshow in 2014. I opted to upgrade our displays to use a cloud-based system from digitalsignage.com. At this point, we have multiple campaigns running on various displays throughout the campus. They're used for marketing, information, and other events as needed.
